HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
KATSO, established in 1973, It is a professional institution in the nature of a public institution that serves its members in accordance with the "Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Association and the Chambers and Commodity Exchange Act of 5174" and related regulations, subject to the relevant regulations.
 
Our room, which was planned to be established with the initiative of Mayor Tahir Sözen in 1964, was established in 1973 (173) with a delay of (10) years by the Ministry of Industry on 27.12.1973 days and 14 (610.2 / 28) upon written request of our industrialists and entrepreneurs.
 
Room made the first profession committee elections on 18.02.1974 and with the formation of profession committees Osman Nakipoğlu was appointed as the first President of the Assembly and Mustafa Alp was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. It was decided to bring Odamız to the files registered in the Ereğli Trade and Industry Chamber, which is required by the decision of the first Chamber of the Chamber of Turkey, dated 29.03.1974 and numbered 74/10, before the establishment date of Odan because merchants of our districts are registered in Eregli Trade and Industry Chamber.
 
Within the framework of the historical development of our air conditioner, the scope of its influence has expanded with its responsibilities. Having 9 profession groups and 173 members in the first years of its establishment, the number of profession groups is now 7 and the number of active members is 505.
